I thought everyone was on about some kind of tartan paint / glass hammer / inverse shim nonsense.

Got my self some new wheel builds on the way. I would like them to meet a new frame.
Anyone got any recommendations? I've been looking at the affinity lo pro, it looks like a great riding style.
Or is affinity mass produced guff? -

By some misterious reason the right bb cup doesn't go in smooth. -

Chased the threads?

Tried to fit the bb yesterday but it dind't want to go inside. I take it to local shop and they rebuild the bb thread. Now at least the first few turns where smooth.

Fairly normal, some frame may need chasing, some doesn't.
Like a Narrow-Wide, but offset by one tooth.
Assuming you don't have any half-links in your chain and you have a chainring with an even number of teeth, it's guaranteed that every other tooth will meet outer plates, so those teeth can be wider. Helps keep the chain lined up properly on a 1xMany drivetrain.
