Looks good. I find that t-shirts relating to video games are far more acceptable (and better designed) than T-shirts from any other geek genre. That one is cool (gizzus a link) I'd happily wear that without fear of reprisal.

Started playing online MK8 today... Fuck... So hooked... First in every race but one... As my gf said to me: "You're racing eight year olds, Joe!"

Alien Isolation report so far. 2 or so hours in. 1 alien encounter, a few incidents with the other human survivors. Surprisingly intelligent human AI, haven't had enough Alien encounters to judge its AI. Incredibly fucking tense all round. As a result of fantastic sound design and creeping around knowing that most things are 1-hit kill and you have no idea where the next save point will be. Wish I could take a few days off work and play it non-stop!

Yet to try the survivor mode but I think they messed up in making it a time-based objective. The tension is much greater when slowly creeping around the areas. However I found this nice video of the folks over at Escapist, including the chap who does the Zero Punctuation videos which I'm a huge fan of.

watching a playthrough of aliens isolations. it looks and sounds fantastic.

It does, but then again, being highly skeptical lower my expectation.

On an unrelated note, I've finished The Wolf Among Us, it was pretty fucking awesome.

Just had the weirdest online MK8 race... Only two players, which was odd, I was half a lap ahead for two and a half laps then the other racer comes past me at an incredible, impossible speed, wins the race and I get a race over alert onscreen as soon as they've crossed the finish line...

Race over appears when all but the last player has crossed the line, that's normal. Not sure how he caught up so fast though, unless it was multiple Bullet Bills & mushrooms.

Nah, something fishy was going on... Like I say, they were half a lap behind then shot past me at an incredible speed never before seen on MK8... Comedy levels of speed... Not attributable to mushrooms (and they weren't a Bullet Bill at the time), it was insane...

I'm gonna master fire-hopping, haven't tried it yet... BTW Got all three stars on 150cc now...

Probably just a bad internet connection, the zooming past is when the game picked up where they should have actually been on your screen.
