I and @roadwarrior got quite a fright when this guy start flashing his light and charge at us from behind between Rayne Park and Wimbledon, just putting it up here for future reference, guy think it's all funny driving inches from my rear wheel before I took that photo.
Gonna roadsafe him and email AA about it, he broke almost all the rules that the AA listed on their site..

jokes aside that was some of the most dangerous shit i've ever seen a driver do on a london road
especially considering it was a massive fucking truck
watched him deliberately swerve at ed repeatedly, hang less than half a meter off his rear wheel, also did it to a taxi in front
passed me with an inch to spare
scary shit, man is a fucking maniac

I was chatting to OG Mr Pippin last night and someone drove their car into the back of a parked car. Horrible racket and quite a bit of damage to both cars. How do you manage that? Dozy fuckers. With any luck neither of them can afford new cars and start riding bikes everywhere.

Just about to write up two incidents from today. Just so happened to sign up to the Near Miss project and picked my diary day to be today...
Riding southbound from London Bridge this morning I was about to overtake a bus which was pulling away from a stop when I could see we were both approaching a pedestrian crossing (the one just before reaching Borough Station) which had just turned red. So I stopped behind the right rear corner of the bus and as the lights turned green we both set off, I kept my same line (just to the right of primary) as after the crossing the road splits into two lanes, with the left lane turning left (I was going straight). Just as I got up to speed and approached the pedestrian crossing, a Dominos Pizza moped mong flew past my right side, attempted to overtake the bus and then had to brake to a complete stop as there was absolutely no room between the bus and the island of the crossing. He then swerves as soon as the bus has passed him straight into the side of me and nearly takes us both out, no indicators, no checking his mirrors. Complete belm, starts shouting at me as I see him wobbling around behind me, then as I shout back what a retarded manoeuvre it was he just made, he offers me to stop round the corner and have a fight. So instead I took a photo of him.
Was a little surprised how easy it would have been to push him square off his bike, which is probably what I should have done. Or maybe that was just because I could see what was about to happen and could steady myself.
Then on my way home, I'm setting off from lights and have a red light jumping Astra fly from my right and then undertake a queue of cars infront of him by using the bike lane and almost flattens me, didn't look once to see if I or the 2 other cyclists were there. He delivered his takeaway across the road from me and I was extremely tempted to let his tyres down but the GF talked me out of it...
It's funny that a few years ago I was riding around as fast as I could and didn't give a shit about anyone else, and now that I slow down and stick to the rules as best I can, I feel I'm a daily target for the many tards who have somehow been allowed to drive a tonne of steel in an increasingly pointless 10+ mile queue to work that is London.

I had the police come knocking at my door this morning, coming to take a statement. It related to an incident about 3 weeks ago when I was out training some children and a driver became very aggressive towards me when I had to step into the road to stop him crashing into a child. When I pulled out my phone to take a picture he threatened to hurt me, steal my phone and kill me.
The reason it has taken so long is because I did not call 999 at the time. Instead I waited until my working day had finished and then went to the nearest copshop to report the incident. Both the man on the desk and the police who visited me today said given the nature of the incident (including threats to hurt and kill me) it would have been better to report via 999. This would have meant the car would have been circulated on the hot list of vehicles to be stopped.
I doubt the incident will get to court but am hoping the driver will have their cage seriously rattled when the police come knocking.

How unfortunate that your trainees had witness such behaviour.

So I got hit on my shoulder by a wing mirror from this vehicle, then got punch in the face by the biege coat driver and told to get onto the bicycle lane in Hampton Court Road.
Fun.

Made sure they write it as assault than traffic incident, and they've already circulate the number plate, description etc.
Not difficult to find as the boot got a carbon fibre vinyl on it, hence the matt appearance.
Least he punch like a white man.
So they didn't find that helmet cams caused cancer? Disappoint.
