friend of a friend is organising it. I signed up for the half.
the hoodys are nice. only being able to drink redbull and diluted redbull all run wasn't so great.

I like the idea of races specifically accessible by train, nice.
I don't like the idea of redbull as a running event drink. No wonder it hasn't taken off as they'd hoped!

Re: the railtotrail run... I am super keen but it's my cousin's 1st birthday so I need to work out timings, and potentially learn how to run at twice my normal speed. If I can't do the 1st one I will definitely do the others in the series, I think they're a great idea.

Looking on FRA there's no shortage of events locally. Was it pricier as Redbull involved? That may explain low uptake, particularly for b.o.p. types who don't want to pay 21 mile entry fee for missing 8 mile cut and long walk back to start point.
Guy on train yesterday had a nice looking hoody on from it.
