I did this last year. Bit gimmicky but quite fun and some decent stash at the end.
21 miles with some crazy amount of ascent and descent, it took my legs a while to recover from that one.
I heard that this year might be the last one as it hadn't taken off quite how they had hoped. Possibly because there is a pretty full fell running calendar anyway.
Has anyone got round to signing up for that trail running event in about 2 weeks?

Looking on FRA there's no shortage of events locally. Was it pricier as Redbull involved? That may explain low uptake, particularly for b.o.p. types who don't want to pay 21 mile entry fee for missing 8 mile cut and long walk back to start point.
Guy on train yesterday had a nice looking hoody on from it.

Talking of weird English, there was a fell run out where I was yesterday called Redbull Steeple Chase 500 start only 40 can finish as the field is cut each time the route passes a church steeple (3 times) until the top 40 fight for the win at the last one.
Would be fun to try, tho I'm not sure if sponsor name & popularity means higher entry cost.
