  • Costcutter doing imported beers? Nice.

I've mapped out all the breweries I could find near Vegas. There's enough that I might not make it back alive so I think I'm sorted.

  • Bit of a dredge back to the Radler / Shandy chatter, enjoying a bottle of Siren Half Mast QIPA which I found in the offy. 2.8% and very Grapefruity.

  • qipa?

  • Brodie's Red Ale at King William IV (Bakers Arms). This ale is incredible. It's based around the same recipe as their Red IPA, but only 4%. £2.60 a pint. In fact, pretty much all of their beers are amazingly good, and there is none of the craft wankery surrounding it either.

  • Quarter IPA they call it.

  • More Weird Beard, both good, the strong one was quite sweet:

  • Put down a Citra Double IPA today. It's a Kernel clone. Really looking forward to sampling it.

  • Went to "the beer shop" in Heaton Mersey (Burnage really) earlier to pick up some bottles. Really nice little place with a good selection and they have decent stuff you can drink in or get in bags in boxes. People serving were friendly and half cut, people drinking inside were friendly and hammered, seems nice but a bit out of most peoples way.
    I got these.

Far left was nice and made close to where I grew up, the milk stout was lovely and sweet and would be lethal in larger amounts, the black IPA is currently very tasty and I'll get into the rest shortly.

  • That Snake Dog IPA has a lovely biscuit-y, malty base to it.

^^ Very jealous about the home-brew IPA.

  • Where can I get the Paulaner Oktoberfest beers? None of the German pubs seem to actually do them.

  • Yesterday's beers. The missus was suffering a bit from Sat so we went out to fix that...

    Pils by Laine Brewing (Hackney)
Acton Ale by Laine Brewing (Brighton)
    Sneaky by Dragonfly Brewery
    Fruitesse by Brouwerij Liefmans
Jack Brand Crystal Rye I.P.A by Adnams
Bearded Lady Barrel Aged Bourbon by Magic Rock Brewing
    Rosso by Brouwerij Rodenbach
Dernière Volonté by Brasserie Dieu du Ciel
Epic Saison by The Wild Beer Co
Saison à La Provision by Burning Sky Brewery
Jambe de bois by Brasserie de la Senne
    Galaxy IPA by Lervig Aktiebryggeri

  • The Public House in the Venetian has a great selection of beers. Plenty of draught, cans and bottles: http://www.publichouselv.com/

  • Ta. Added to list.

  • I'm an idiot for not thinking of them.

But I did kinda want to just walk in somewhere and pick up a couple of bottles rather than do an 'order'.

  • I hate Katzenjammers it is always full of the worst people.

http://www.utobeer.co.uk/the-cage/ usually have a good selection of Paulaner, bit pricey though.

http://zeitgeist-london.com/gastropub/ this place is good but a bit out of the way, although they don't appear to have any Paulaner on at all according to their draft list.

  • @Hippy

    Bearded Lady - yes!

  • Pils by Laine Brewing (Hackney)

Did you mean 'Brighton' in this line, too?

  • @hippy - oktoberfest 24 pack, slip down a treat that would

@mustardbeak - Worst sort of people....You spill beer on me ralf lauren polo shirt and I'll fuckin glass you...guilty

  • Might get the Oktoberfest ales in Bottledog.

  • Nice, I'll give Uto a shout and I've bookmarked Zeitgeist for further investigation..

  • No.

I just copied it straight out of Untappd. I was puzzled by the location but didn't have time to investigate. Are there multiple Laine breweries?
