Ace movie. Based on a Patricia Highsmith novel, who also wrote Talented Mr Ripley. Similar sort of Americans doing the med in 1950/60's vibe. Saw it at the BFI, then they had a Q&A with Kirsten Dunst, Oscar Isaac and Viggo afterwards.

Kirsten was a bit dim, but Viggo is a dude.

I've never watched Twin Peaks, is it worth it?

Twin Peaks hasn't aged very well IMHO... And I'm speaking as someone who tuned in EVERY FUCKlNG WEEK to watch it when it first aired...

Got tickets to John Waters' carsick, not a film. He made some great ones though:
Hairspray and Something Wild are a couple of my faves.
Pink Flamingos is shit (eating)

Gone Girl. Very well made, good looking potboiler ruined somewhat by forced commentary about the modern media machine supported entirely by tired tropes.

matt damons is very good in it.

6/10 i have wasted my life points.
