When you guys form a plan be sure to broadcast it, partly coz if i have time it would be good to join (unlikely though)

I'm leading a ride tomorrow which you're all welcome to join.
12 miles along towpaths, avg. 10mph (if we're lucky).
Form an orderly queue ... -

If you guys get something organised and it happens to be in Essex, somewhere around gt dunmow, i might see you there. Have been doing a ride I've wanted to do for a long long time....

Surrey hills tomorrow (sunday) 9AM richmond park (roehampton gate) start; anyone keen?
-
• #32
I'm up for that, not too fast paced hopefully?

@amey, you beat me to it.
Was thinking of suggesting an earlier start at Crystal Palace for about 100-120k of Kent Hills, similar vibe to the Attaque! ride; some chaingang, some putting the hammer down up the climbs. Hopefully similar pace to Attaque too, with a brief café stop.
If anyone's interested I'll post a route or I may head to Richmond. A bit pushed for time tomorrow though, so it's unlikely. Amey, have you got a distance / route in mind? (BTW - I'd avoid Box if I were you as it will be riddled with club runs and daytrippers)

I did Attaque route at social pace with a work mate; what a lovely day!

I had 2 punctures and did the ROTFL.
Oh and I broke my rear derailleur in Clapham on the way back.
It was a great ride! -

Three days in Wales for me with three mates. One crash, one broken wheel, one broken hangar, lots of scrapes and bruising, lots of beers. All for me unfortunately.

Oh man I broke my rear derailleur on the Sundridge Hill climb during ROTFL as well... and a spoke on my rear and the hanger.

Dear @6pt @eyebrows @Sumo @branwen @Hovis @bitterbuffalo @dbr @cjr @amey @dimi3 @FixedCheese, anyone else I may have forgotten from previous rides, and anyone else who reads this:
I'm happy to organise the third LFGSS.CC ride in the likely absence of our Directeur Sportif Henry. It will be in Kent, around 80 miles, with a good mix of hills and flat bits.
The idea will be working on group skills as much as possible, but with every man for himself up the lumpy bits. I also have a section in mind where we could do a small bit of breakaway / group chasedown a la the Voigt ride to mix things up.
Am hoping that we can keep it at an 18mph average, and there will be a brief cafe stop.
This will probably be next Sunday (2nd November), starting 8.30am ish in the Herne Hill / Crystal Palace area. The date of the ride will be confirmed after I test my mojo and my legs this weekend following a period of illness and various injuries. Also, shit weather = no ride.
If there's sufficient interest I'll make an event, post a route, decide on the group size (likely to be 10-12 only I'm afraid), and, most importantly, think of a catchy and witty name for the ride.

Got another hill climb that Sunday :( any chance of rolling out this weekend?
-

Sunday. Potentially.
Y'all can't organise a piss up in a brewery, eh?
Need to think of plans. Potentially North because I haven't been to Essex for time. Or Surrey for the same reason and I crave hills. -
