did they not offer you some super tempting deals?? Thought the job of a retention team is that, not to bad mouth other companies...

the first thing he said was "who have you been looking at switching to?"
I told him Pet Plan
He said "okay but a word of warning with Pet Plan, they are abismal..." and then went on to tell me how he's with them and his premium has gone up every year because his Lurcher has had loads of vet bills. I basically told him to stop talking and just cancel my insurance.

I sorted out new insurance for my two.
I called my current provider to cancel and they put me through to their retention team who attempted to change my mind by bad mouthing my new provider. That doesnt work on me because that used to be my job at a car insurance company. Soz mate.
