The frame is back from Colourtech and all seems to be alright thank goodness. They re-shaped and re-tapped the BB and it runs smoothly. I will need to get the remains of the oiler out of the socket at some point and it will definately need painting now, but today I took it out on a trial run. Note the Bracket shell is RGF. French, -Raccord Gargette Freres. The Williams chainset that came with the frame was dated 1956, so couldnt be original to the frame, so I have upgraded to a CL chainset that i had to hand.
I have added a front brake since this picture was taken.
The rims are Constrictor, Im sure, though I cannot see any markings on the hubs, I thought they may be small flange Airlite? The Gnutti headset turns out to be a mixture of Gnutti and Brampton.
