  • Hi, sorry for the two CP,s just in the process of finishing this Lo Pro need a couple of bits so figured I'd combine two threads wanted/swap and CP.

This is an 1982/3 ex TDF Lo Pro according to Pip the owner of Stonehenge Cycles it was one of three frames purchased in 1983 after the TDF. I spoke to Pip who remembers buying these frames but not who the riders were, apparently there were two Gazelle,s, this one was then sold to a customer and re-sprayed with the Stonehenge Cycles applied.

I purchased it in March this year and set about finding period parts for the 6 speed single chain wheel set up. The frame is Cinelli tubing Pip was sure it was KL with Shimano drop-outs so I went for a mix of early 80,s Shimano AX and Dura-Ace, the bars are Moser 151 with a Cinelli stem and Modolo levers. The seat tube is Selle San Marco with an Iscaselle saddle a Modolo aero down-tube shifter and a Reydel single chain ring from 1983. The wheel set is Mavic sealed bearing hubs on Wolber Profile 18 700 rear 600 aero bladed front Vittoria gum wall tubs junior front and a 6 speed TT block.

So to the wanted I need a period correct headset to replace the campy (what ever one it is) that is on there at the mo and the correct period brakes to replace the Dura-Ace.Looking to buy, swap or trade on the headset and Dura-Ace, please PM rather than clog this thread up anyway hope you guys like the bike.

  • Hi no got them from a guy in France selling NOS. Went out yesterday for 20 miler they do make a serious difference, the 600ax is a bit agricultural but heyho all good fun

  • More pictures of dog please

  • Thought exactly the same.. alternative view of the dog please..

  • Ok guys my dog Noodle.

  • ^ Not sure if sympathetic to riding position or said dog.

  • ^^ You sure that's not a lion?

  • She thinks she,s a lion has a mixture of can't be arsed to searing indifference unless there's a cat in the garden when all hell breaks loose. She is a five year old Chow Chow that two years ago had two new knees at a cost of just under £8,500 after tripping down a rabbit hole, that put the Cinelli Lazer on hold for a while.

  • Hi, sorry the dog flat refused, could not be tempted by treats either anyway some progress, Dura-Ace headset now on and a Dura-Ace AX rear 7 speed mech for the arrival of a disc wheel. Still looking for DA pedals if anyone has a pair.
