... or I should sell the frame... top tube must be too long for me as I keep trying to sit closer to the front.
But really, as ugly as it looks, it rides really nicely...

I don't think the frame is too big, but I think there is too much drop on the bars for you to be comfortable...

Yo!
Needing to finance a new project, I'm slightly considering getting rid of Les...
I'm not putting it on classified, still a bit unsure...
I would either sell it as frame only, at the same price Theo sold it to me, or complete as geared (with shimano 600 gears, gold 28h Maillard Perrin professional hubs laced to black open pros... Again, not sure on this either.
Any interest? Would be nice if this stayed in the family... -

Check across past pages, you may have elements of answer until I double check that at home (will try to remember tonight, PM me if I forget).
I'm 6"1 and people on here swore it was too small for me. I disagree partially with this. Indeed I need a fair bit of seatpost showing on that bike, but the effective top tube lenght, which is the more important, is about right. I use a 100mm long stem, nothing mad... -

And if you wanted the frame only, Morgasm wants the bars...

Sorry it took so long! I finally took the bike out of the cupboard to measure the frame.
Top tube is 55cm ctc
Seat tube is 60cm ctcI had second thoughts looking at it in the hall way, but boiler needs servicing before winter (lamest and saddest reason ever) so this it definitely for sale.
Frame only:
For sale for what I paid for it, £140, you get the re-brazed mech hanger as a bonus.
As a complete bike, including almost NOS Mavic bars (see pics on previous pages), Perrin-Maillard professionel 28h gold hubs laced (DT Swiss dble butted) onto black Mavic Open pros with 6 speed freewheel, mad Caston-like forward seat post and yellow concor kinda matching yellow stickers, fluted Peugeot badged Stronglight crankset with 52T chainring, Shimano rear mech (old fashion, either 600 or Altus I don't remember) and single down tube shifters, and weinman short reach competition brakeset (I can swap for shimano Dura Ace Ax, but they are not that good, although they look awesome): £275 (ono)
Since I bought it from Theo about 1/2 years ago, I only rode it once on a long-ish ride, the infamous hip hop ride to brighton/cambridge, and few London journeys to the pub, occasionally to work. Never crashed it.
It is set-up fixed at the moment but I'm keeping these wheels. If photos are needed in geared version, this will need few days for me to do the swap.Voila

What ever happened to Les?
Les is for sale, some kind of secret sale, no thread, just telepathic messaging that only people who deserve to ride it can hear...
I don't really want to sell it as frame only anymore, but as a complete bike, as described above, for the incredible price of £275, ladies and gentlemen, a bargain to own that legendary bike.
Please PM me if interest.

How is Les these days? Has he gone on to pastures new? Tell him I miss him.

I wanted Les once. He came to mind today, to the point that I googled him. Turns out he’s too big for me anyway. No regrets. Still would like those mavic bars though.
Whats with you french and anti-ing all the bikes? looks at Vince
