Bike Anti-Porn - When Things Go Wrong

1. The dérailleur hangers have a habit of snapping off P3s/P2Cs, so a conversion is a way to keep a $2000 frame instead of binning it thanks to a non-replaceable hanger.
   
2. Second hand P3s are cheap and plentiful, T3s are hen's teeth
   
   

It's not a pretty bike, but just being a P3 without a dérailleur doesn't make it anti (and you'll have @xavierdisley to answer to if you say it does), and it's far from being the most expensive bike to have suffered such an indignity anyway.
