I'd rather they weren't merged. They've been running separately and quite happily for a long time.
It's a funny request coming from someone who started a cats thread when there was already one for pets. Could we merge those? How would we decide? A vote of all the people who post in there? Or of the entire forum? Actually, given what the cats thread is like we should probably ask the cats, after all, they are just little, furry, humans aren't they?
