Crossrail uncovers Brunel's railway heritage in Paddington.

saw a really interesting talk by one of the archaeologists working on the Crossrail digs. I have mixed feelings on the project in general but they are really doing some incredible archaeological work they would never otherwise be able to - it's like a huge section slice being dug across London.
