Cheers for that; looks like all the 2015 models are too! Sadly no frameset only option.

Pretty nice CAAD 9 56cm up on ebay atm, one of the handbuilt ones for a pretty reasonable price. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CANNONDALE-CAAD9-56-cm-Frameset-Frame-Fork-Caad-9-/111453281578?pt=UK_Health_Beauty_Fragrances_Women_s_Fragrances_PP&hash=item19f3221d2a

been looking at that.. is it worthit with the re-riveting and the paint problems?
-
• #1142
Borderline. It's a used aluminum frame with the boat anchor alu / carbon fork. It's not BB30, and it has paint damage and the bottle bosses do not work.
It's not particularly special, and it has damage. Go figure.
For comparison I paid £360 for my as-new BB30 CAAD9 with the full carbon premium fork and various ano bits from Hope and Cane Creek. I sold my similar CAAD7 frame for £180 and BSA CAAD9 frame for £250.

well, seller accepts offers.. I'd be replacing the forks with full carbon ones and although BB30 is welcome, I can live with BSA. so would an offer of 250 be worthit if I'd sell the forks afterwards?
-
• #1144
£180? Mine was in pristine condition when I sold it for £250.
I wouldn't count on getting much for the forks though.
-
• #1145
Genuine question, but is BB30 genuinely that much better?
-
• #1146
Fake answer, but I'm lying when I say maybe.
-
• #1147
No, kind-of, maybe, but you can't fit hollowgram cranks without it, and a Cannondale road frame from about 2002 onwards without BB30 is very much 'second rung' stuff.

My Supersix in "climbing mode" - even though it's still heavy at over 7,2kg.

Noice!
In other news the abomination that was my 9's steerer got the chop, and a Richy WCS 260 stem got fitted. Which was actually quite the battle.
