  • It can work, but I have a lots less hand position that way, I can no longer be able to grasp the top of the bar comfortably without the bag getting in the way.

    May not be a deal killer for most people, but having a bag against the flat section of the bar can be frustrating on a long distance ride.

  • Agreed, anything more than an couple of days riding and I'd probably get annoyed with it on the drops but for a trendy #microadventure it's a lot quicker and easier than making a saddlebag! Even on flat bars it's a bit annoying when you try and grab the centre section of the bars, might get some stubby bar ends and mount them near the middle of the bars to grab instead (Jones bars are still too expensive!)
