  • Could go for one of those fixed Brooklyn works bikes Rikki? Haha! Best of both

  • A BMW Gangsta? I'd kill for one but don't have the silly money for the frameset!

  • Thats the one mate! Theres a forum one thats red, can't remember who's it is though! It looks fantastic

  • got my bike back from DH few days ago... had bigger brakes fitted and tidied up the frame, got rid of the cables routes, and the massive light holder on the front forks..

  • TIL 67 gear inches is not enough for even a slowish club ride. And that having your chain come off and then lock the wheel just as you're pulling onto a verge and stacking you hurts

  • @Sunsolo17 I'd have kept the old light mount on the forks, it's a nice little quirk to remind you of the age of the bike.

  • I know, my girlfriends dad said the same.. but I just fancied a smooth look after it gets powder coated Tuesday....

  • Today I realised that we've had so many new folks joining I have no idea who anyone is anymore. Time for a Names and Faces thread?

  • Good idea!

  • Bike plus person perhaps?!

  • Exactly that, Chris. Looks as though Tom has started one but not added a picture of himself or his steed!

  • Today I beat my old top speed, managed 40.5mph down Skeets hill :)

Think the 14t might have to make an achey-legged comeback..

  • Think I might "need" a carbon speed steed soon!!

  • Something like this?

Complete with silly bars and wheels for speed...

Or do I just get one of these and be sensible?

Or do I buy a road bike as it seems the thing to do for longer rides?

    Like this one, http://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/CBPXSLPULT6800/planet-x-pro-carbon-shimano-ultegra-6800-road-bike

Seems a good price for the spec etc

  • Personally id go steel, though if you're going carbon, go all out with deep rims etc!

  • I've already got 60mm crabonz!

  • do both mate... can never have too many bikes hah

  • dropped my bike of at mastercoat for powder coating... just have to be patient and wait now...

  • do both mate... can never have too many bikes hah

Haha, Sometimes having a garage can be a bad thing - it'll take a while to run out of space!

  • Nice, what colour did you go for in the end?

@hudsoncjnr / @bengreen nice doing business with you as usual/to meet you!

  • I forgot to give you the grips Rikki!!

  • haha definitely, there's always the ceiling space as well.. hang a few bikes there...

I keep getting bikes on cyclescheme as well and my fixed gear bikes... been offered a khs aero frame today as well...

  • cobalt blue, nice deep dark should look quite nice hopefully, im just to impatient to wait till next now,

  • 60mm is plenty! Full carbon points

  • Haha, my wife pays no attention to how many bikes I collect and she never goes in the garage!!
