I know that 52 people were pulled from the swim, but there were a large number who walked away before or didn't make the cut off as well.
Nearly 25% of the field dnf'd in total...
It was hard going, but given that I haven't swum in the sea at all during training not impossible if you've done enough training (and get a little lucky not getting kicked to death in the mele)

How was the swim? I hear that ~100 or so DNF'd that due to the conditions?
