At lee valley? Do you have more spaces?
-
• #304
No, at Newport. List is currently full with a full sub's bench too.

Ah yes...page 12.
If the 17th sept is still free come payday I'll be booking my taster/stage 1 if anyone wants to come with. Preferably the earlier slot but I'll take whatever is left on Friday.

Has anyone here already created a spreadsheet that works as a quick / overall view for the days and times of the various sessions at Lee Valley? Or is there one on their website? I have looked and I cant see anything like that. I am thinking of making one up, as I'd like to be able to see at a glance what is on what day, both for myself and for friends of mine thinking of doing levels one and two.

(edited) sorry there's a problem with the spreadsheet I did...

lol, many have tried, few have succeeded. Actually this is something we will be doing for the public soon. However, most weeks are never the same so it can be more misleading to have something 'set in stone'.

Is there any chance of stage 2 sessions being on later in the evening or at weekends? Will have to take a day off work for it at the moment!

This is a bit of a PITA. I just did mine, but had to take the afternoon off.
It was a bit disappointing - did no more than we did on the LFGSSCC session. There were a couple of less experienced riders there so each exercise prob took longer than ideal. With only an hour including explanations it doesn't amount to much track time.
Hey ho - at least that's passed and stage 3 has Saturdays and evenings.

Did the taster session just now. Great fun (apart from the slow pace of a couple of people who couldn't get off the cote d'azure)
Booking the next level...

Are there lockers to throw my stuff into?
-
• #316
Don't know if they have them in the changing rooms, but you can take stuff down into the track centre (including bikes) where there are only other riders doing the sessions.
-
• #317
Yes.

• #318
There are free lockers in the hallway outside the changing room doors. You just program a number into them. They're a decent size but not big enough for a folding bike.

That was good! Would have been a lot more comfortable with cleats (Wouldn't have said that a year ago!) so I'll hire shoes next time, or just buy some appropriate cleats for my existing shoes instead of trainers and cages.

Not sure what just happened but I booked stage two and it applied a 'bonus loyalty discount' of £30, which meant it was free... Do I have to pay on the day now or something?!
