Aha @hudsoncjnr that's only a few inches off my waist size! But yeah I felt pretty good last night too - having the beating of that VCN guy on all but one climb probably helped give me a little boost - nothing better than showing the roadies who's boss...
...over a short sharp distance where I only got the jump on him each time by virtue of knowing the route.
