  • Unintended side effects of weight loss:

    1. I fit trousers I purchased 5 years ago and couldn't wear at the time as I was gaining weight too fast and had purchased them optimistically... I'm now out of fashion.
    2. I no longer fit the suit I purchased 3 months ago for my wedding.

    On both counts... feck.

Not entirely sure what to do, I've lost 4 inches from my waist in a couple of months, and it's ruining my wardrobe. I dress like shite, what clothes I have that fit they are quite worn, and I haven't the means to acquire clothes that now fit.

My wardrobe is basically a pair of worn cords (too large), a pair of jeans (too short), 2 pairs of trousers (way out of fashion), a few T-shirts (too large), a few shirts (too large), a suit (too large), a couple of jackets (too large and quite worn).

I look like David Byrne circa Talking Heads most of the time.

The only stuff that still fits is cycling gear. The miracle of Assos Large bib shorts adapting to all sizes continues to be true.
