Amazon, as i recall, doesn't do DRM on its MP3s as part of its market differentiation*.
I use it for the odd album, it's never pestered me to buy anything more, and I've never had any technical issues with it.

Wow that actually is quite a lot of associated data :/ will see if its obvious whether or not the stuff I can download is doing this, it does say "explicitly marked".
