The spyres are good, but to make them really good, you have to upgrade stock pads and cables too (unless Giant have changed the spec for 2015 and use compressionless now). Worth it in my opinion if you're going to be riding in all weathers.

That would make an awesome touring bike.

This is an awesome touring bike; Jim Felt (of Felt Bikes) personal hunting fat bike with Bosch assist and tents and guns.

Looks perfect for the OKR commute.

Gun will probably come in handy too

Might be useful against tall stack guy who seemed to obtain a unsavoury reputation.

About 20mm too much headtube (pretty standard). They're light and seem good value.
The Specialized Tarmac and Whyte Stowe are the only road disc frames I've seen in the flesh and liked.
Focus have a model (Cayo?), but again more HT than the Icalzo.
I'm not sure why I pay attention to these things. I don't want discs. Perhaps the marketing is wearing me down...

The Spesh with a silly rear hub and no bolt-throughs.
Without a doubt Would. Followed by feelings of low self-esteem.

I don't want discs.
You didn't want 650B either and look where we are...
-
• #323
Zing. 650b is the future of winter road riding. Probs on MTB disc wheels.

What's your reasoning for that Miro?

I've gone full circle.
I used to commute on a modified CX bike (read hybrid). Then SS off road, or go on road rides on the fixed for fun/training. Now I spend so much time riding geared in my free time. I find myself wanting to commute fixed/SS.
Funds allowing, I'm going to put drops on the SS 29er for shitty weather, and Upgrade my fixed to a stiffer lighter frame.
Nah, thems are "DORK DISCS".
