If the incident is genuine (ha!) then it's bordering on victim blaming to say it was the driver's fault for poor road positioning. So what if he's slightly blocking the cycle lane? OMG. Call the police, someone with poor road positioning! That doesn't give people the right to (allegedly) crash into you and cause damage (if that even happened).
I agree and have not excused anything the cyclist is supposed to have done.
My point is that the driver looks to be seeking a confrontation and has deliberately and needlessly blocked the cycle lane: "punishment parking"?
Either way, the whole thing is quite implausible: the cyclist isn't in much of a hurry to get away (calmly waiting to cross the road, instead of legging it around the corner) and the driver makes no effort to catch him.
Something else now occurs to me: are the Luffguss TaxiWarrior and the YouTube TaxiWarrior the same person, or is this all the work of a mega-troll? TW seems pretty clued-up about the forum.
Jeez, I just don't know...
The lack of location/time/date information in the original post also made me suspicious, giving a location would make most sense if you genuinely wanted to find that person. But I'd really like to see the 1 or 2 minutes of video leading up to that incident (but I'm sure that's been "deleted" by now, or some other excuse) I'd expect this isn't the start of it.
Even then, the video shows nothing of the alleged incident. It almost looks staged (who would just leave a bike?) and posted here in order to get publicity for the video (and youtube channel); there's advertising revenue to be had after all.

Pulling over and parking on the advisory cycle lane after an alleged crash because someone is looking to run off from without swapping details? Don't see a problem with that, depends on your interpretation of "unavoidable". If it were me, and I wanted to park quickly, then it's probably what I would do (based on what I can see in the video alone).
