Off to Copenhagen this coming weekend for the CPH Half-Marathon. really looking forward to it even if my training's not been too great.
Am still struggling to get back into the mindset I had whilst training for the London Marathon last year as I think I'm a bit burnt out of distance training and lots of long runs.
when I get back from CPH I'm going to focus on an 8-week sub 45min 10km plan for the Greenwich MoRunning 10km at end of November, would like to get under 45min comfortably if I can so will be focusing more on my speedwork than going much over 10 miles in any run. I've started going to mile end track on thursdays and I've just realised tooting bec track is easily accessible for me as well (no more industrial estate boredom fests)
if I can set a decent 10km time I'll then parlay that into my Paris Half-Marathon training for next April which starts 2 weeks after Greenwich and hopefully will be able to train towards a sub 3:30 goal (even if that's not what I achieve on the day).
