I can't imagine any 5 year old PMs will be missed now. I don't seem to be able to log in as mitre_tester anyway, so they are effectively already lost

Why has the logo gone black. I can't see anything in the Rider Down thread that would lead to it?

That's been done, you now have all of mitre_tester's stuff. Some of the displayed numbers may be cached though, so just expect that they'll correct themselves in time.

On the right, press the pin menu and delete should be an option you have.

Nope, just tested a few threads and most didn't have it until I got to one in Current Projects, then the pin menu appeared.

It's not on this thread, for example.

@Velocio Is it possible to merge an 'event thread' with a 'regular thread'? There are two separate ones for the Parkour Ride event, which probably isn't necessary.

But @finger_jockey started both, and he could post in the conversation pointing everyone at the event and then Close then conversation.

How do I change the email address for the forum notifications?

It would require changing your sign-in email.

If you want to do this you need to do this:

1. Sign-in with the new email that you want to use, get allocated a user45678 style name.
   
2. PM me from your primary account (Seweryn) and give me the name of the user45678 account you were allocated.
   
   

What I will do is swap the emails around... such that the new sign-in email belongs to the old account and vice versa. This has the effect of sending all notifications to the new email.

I have banned Tommy.

He was banned from some specific areas of the site already, i.e. the Ladies forum. But he's now banned from the entire site.

Tommy was never able to get past the fact that he had offended lots of people with what read to almost everyone as being misogynist and sexist posts. And after he was banned for that he had a permanent chip on his shoulder and took to expressing this by trolling me or proclaiming that the site was being censored, and, well... it all went a bit weird, I can't follow his reasoning well enough but I think I'm an evil person for censoring posts that in his opinion were not offensive, etc.

I have a lot of patience, and prior to the switchover to the new version I had shown him non-identifying fragments of some of the many reports his posts had warranted. I had hoped he might see how much of a prat he was being, and that things would return to some semblance of normality. This didn't happen.

In the past 2 weeks as his trolling increased, he's been banned from a few specific parts of the site. Again in the hope that if he could just get back on topic that it might be OK.

Today I've banned him from the site. It's now obvious that Tommy isn't going to stop trolling and acting like a prat, as he doesn't even seem to know he's doing so.

Don't mourn for him, he's with Jeez now.
