This Vuelta is the pits.

I watched the last 30km of that and the most entertaining thing was a AG2R rider throwing a bidon to a kid who clapped for it.

The motos were two bike lengths off BMC when they were on the front and super attentive when it came to filming close ups of Krizek's helmet (?) ... why no decent shots of on the finishing straight. Did the motos all crash too? Did the chopper pilot get bored?

Good to see Boonen right up there.

Difficult to see exactly what happened, but the motorbike on the left seems to play quite a major part it in.

hmmm. I think all it demonstrates that the best way to ride up a 19% hill is to sit at your max sustainable power level with the right gearing to achieve your desired cadence, rather than irregularly attacking out of the saddle at 50rpm.

Froome just running a few diagnostics there before getting going. Closing down some pop-ups maybe.
