But most people who cycle over it are cunts
By most people I mean every single one we encountered over a week long stay

they speed up so I couldn't move out and ended up smashing into the parked car. Buckled front wheel and cuts and bruises.
But, bummer.

I downloaded Strava last week.
As I result I have smashed my commute this week with renewed vigor and enjoyed checking my stats and what not.
But I must've shot my beans cos today was HARD WORK.I am supposed to be doing a century in Somerset this weekend and my legs are blown.

I've just been on a bike trip in Denmark and Sweden finishing with 4 days in Copenhagen - dream place to ride. Car traffic moves fine too! Everyone polite.
Losing my mojo riding in London - screamed at last night for riding primary in a tight road and told to "get on the fucking left" by a female driver, followed by a dangerous undertaking and them driving in the bus lane for 100m. Obviously caught up very quickly (who drives into Soho?!) and shouted in (the passenger screamed!) not to undertake, not to drive in bus lanes and to stop being a shit driver. Didn't wait for a response, but god, I have lost hope in this city. It won't ever compete in modal share with Amsterdam or Copenhagen.
tldr; I need to htfu.

That's how it is - WOW or yuch....and no way of knowing. I monstered it to Balham last night - I mean really hurt myself. Woke this morning and felt the prev evenings effort and thought I'd crawl along the CS to the city for work - til I notice I'm flat out again! Again! Why? Because I could! Simple. Good luck in Somerset! At least the forecast is good! Cheers.

It's true...
I often end up on a full gas flyer when I am hungover to fuck.Looking forward to it.
When the wife gets work out in the sticks I throw the bike on the back and go with her.
She toddles off to work and I get a whole day on my own in the middle of nowhere with nothing else to do but ride. -

A middle aged chap on a hybrid was drafting me in Peckham this morning. Very high stack. I was going pretty quick, and he effortlessly kept up with me. At the Library he shot past and was in the distance before long. He didn't seem to be pedaling hard or in a big gear at all. But he was so fast!
Must have had some kind of electric motor, but couldn't see one.
Maybe I'm just a slowcoach!!!???
Anyone else seen such a fellow?

Prematurely grey, looking a bit like somebody with one of those accelerated-aging health problems? Somebody matching that description and bike caught up with me on Holland Road last year. He grinned, said "Cheating!" and pointed at the big black battery pack and hub-motor.

Anyone see the dude on a TT frame and an American kit with no helmet that TT from the City down East India Dock road?

I think so. Definitely grey and wearing wrap around shades.

Have seen the obvious e bikes a bit, but this one didn't look like it had a motor. Maybe where the rear rack was...

Yeah that's spot on! I had to actually lol at his astonishing acceleration this morning as he trolled me nearly all the way into work.
He took me at the Library as well but we were playing leapfrog all the way from New Cross to Camberwell Green.^That battery pack on the folder is sneaky.

Just stop behind him at the lights and pull the connecting wire out.

Or short out the battery and watch the ensuing explosion/conflagration. Bring marshmallows.

Some mornings I just fuck it up.
Dressed in cycling gear for the commute, encumbered with locks, all ready and then notice a slow flat has taken the Mather out of action.
Not a problem, I'll grab the Brompton and do part on train and part on the road.
Find myself at the station wondering what I was thinking.
Still dressed as if cycling the whole way, still carrying a pile of locks even though the bike will go in the office. Worse still, Sidis and cleats even though my Brompton doesn't use them.
What a Muppet.
