Been thinking about Dwayne a lot lately, this is a fucking massive kick in the balls... I can only echo what everyone else has said, super funny, gentle and generous guy... We shared some great times and fought over many bike parts...
You will be sorely missed, my friend... RIP

Jaygee just gave me the sad news. Memories are flooding back. Dwayne is the one who tipped me about my lovely Ellis Briggs. I remember Dawyne as a grounded and ever so gentle man. I am glad I met him. Om mani padme hum.

Oh no, really sad news. A real gent and a pleasure to talk to at Wests. Always with some tastefully built track porn in tow. Can't really believe it.

Greatly saddened to hear this.
Without hesitation I can say every social encounter I had with Wayne was enhanced by his good natured presence. Many good memories which will live on in our community, including meeting his family at the Ralph Lauren Tweed Run. My thoughts are with them.

Oh man, What can I say you guys. I f'ing loved Dwayne, such a giving human being. He was always there to offer up his services and support if you needed them, no strings attached. I am so glad we got to have him and his family over for Thanksgiving a couple of years ago. I'll just stop typing here, because I really don't have any words to express how unbelievably sad I am to hear this news. I'll truly miss the guy.

Oh man, this is gutting. Such a cool guy.
I've changed the logo, it's fitting and the original reason for the black logo was if "one of us" passed away. "Us" later became "London cyclists"... but in this case, it really is the case that we've lost someone close to us.

Such sad news. A genuinely nice and effortlessly cool dude. Don't think anyone couldn't be comfortable around him. He was just sound. RIP.
Just seen this and I had to check I wasn't getting confused-this is really a shock.
I only 'knew' him from on here and it's fair to say even through that limited contact he distinguished himself as a sincere, kind, generous and knowledgeable person so I can only imagine the sorrow his family and friends must be feeling just now-the forum's a poorer place without him.
RIP DMC Zone, and condolences to all who were close to him.
