Annoyingly I have somehow managed to get non-specific bike transmission gack on my new City Rainjacket, which as it is orange means the gack is rather obvious.
I’d normally just sling it in the washing machine, but my experience of the rain-proofness of garments, despite using the approved re-proofing substance, is not good.
Has anyone any (positive) experience of using a cleaning firm for this – one that would re-proof the garment afterward?
Thinking in the mould of a dry cleaner or similar, who would both lift the gack off and ensure that the rain still rolled off the fabric.
