I'm not 100% sold on blk PVD as don't think the tech is that strong. Though I can be clumsy I've been pretty good with this yet there are the odd nics coming through:

DLC > PVD

PVD is the process - DLC is the coating.

Diamond Like Carbon is applied used Plasma Vapour Deposition (but not all PVD deposits DLC - it can be used to apply other, cheaper, coatings)

My point was that if a watch manufacturer states it is coated with PVD you can be sure it will be an infererior coating to one that specifically specifies a DLC coating.
