  • Just received this from Rebecca re. autumn courses...

    Greetings cyclists, yogi's and friends,

I hope this finds you all enjoying the last few weeks of Summer! Here
is the latest update on upcoming courses, workshops and classes:

    YFC course in South London:

The next 6 week course will begin on the 24th September, every
    Wednesday
    6.15 - 7.45pm (ends 29th October) at the Pullens Centre - 184 Crampton st. SE17 3AE. Course cost: £55 (no drop-in option available). However,
for those who have done the course, you can of course start in week 2
(1st October) and pay £45. Bikes can be brought in.

    YFC course in East London:

The next 6 week course will begin on the 25th September, every
Thursday 7.30 - 9pm (ends 30th October) at the ELCW - 27 Old Ford rd,
    E2 9PL. http://www.eastlondoncommunitywellbeing.com Course cost: £65, £12
drop-in (only available to those who have completed a full course).
Please note we will need a minimum of 6 students signing up for the
full course for it to run and the drop-in option will be revised if we
don't have enough full course attendees. Bikes cannot be brought in
but there are railings nearby right in front of The Gallery Cafe which
    is open 'til 9pm.

YFC workshop in East London - Knees!

    Saturday 27th September 2014 2 – 5pm £25 East London Community
    Wellbeing – 27 Old Ford Road E2 9PL 020 8980 2092

This open level workshop (some experience of yoga preferable but not
essential) will be exploring how we can support the action of the
knees during cycling. We’ll be looking at the possible causes of this
notorious complaint, the musculoskeletal support system around the
knee joint as well as those that directly affect it. The postures will
pay particular attention to gluteus medius as well as the muscles that
attach to the iliotibial band. Recommended for those seeking to
understand, ease or avoid cycle related knee pain. We will have the
opportunity to explore each posture in detail with time for questions
    and individual variations.

YFC drop-in classes in West London:

Lastly, I teach a Yoga for Sports & runners class on Sundays 5.15 -
    6.30pm at Triyoga in Chelsea - 372 King's rd, SW3 5UZ http://www.triyoga.co.uk

If you have any questions or would like to join either course, please
email me and I'll endeavour to ask questions, pass on payment details
etc. Places on the courses and workshop are limited, so if you'd like
to join/ ensure your place, do let me know as soon as you are able. I
should also add that I'll be in remote parts of the world 2nd - 20th
September. I will have occasional access to the internet but it's
likely to be intermittent - apologies in advance if it takes me a few
days to get back to you.

I'm really hoping to resume classes. It will have been 3 months since breaking my clavicle, so hopefully it'll be fine :)
