https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/242970/, although in ùbér_grùbér's case it's more Pringles than Popcorn, since once he pops, he just can't stop. I'm sure the thread was always a prime popcorn candidate, but anybody who looked at it before the vote and was disappointed by how little entertainment value it had will surely not be disappointed now that the most strident voices are casting around for somebody to blame for their loss.

No. It was and still is a discussion forum for a specific political debate.
I smell sour grapes here.
as in your sour grapes tester

Don't you think that also makes it a prime popcorn candidate? The only real surprise is that it didn't become more vicious before the vote. The debate itself was always a joke, as I pointed out, but the comedy value is only improved by the increasingly intemperate recriminations.

Describing a debate as a joke is pretty basic trolling, given the strong feelings around the issue. Those on the thread you have been enjoying winding up have a very personal stake in the debate. I often enjoy it when you wind people up, but this time it's got a bit old.

The strong feelings are the joke. In a globalised economy, the practical difference between independence and union is pretty marginal, but maybe worth a bit of enthusiasm. The mainstream debate was between two fractionally different degrees of devolution.

Love your ability to take such a long view as to make any issue insignificant as if it somehow condones your adopted role of acting like a massive wanker in the middle of it all.
The trouble with taking such a wide view is also that you lose any real perspective or credibility, i.e you're the tit down South watching the BBC and trying (unsuccessfully) to wind people up in the thread instead of getting your own house in order, and where you've not been able to do that yourself you suddenly appear here to try and get reinforcements in to do it for you. Bravo.
Basically, you're welcome to keep on showing yourself up as a total prick-I stand by everything I've said and where I've been uncivil it's perfectly in keeping with the tone of comments made to me.
