It's issued by "Proxy Certificate Authority" - whereas I know that the actual certificate is issued by Geotrust.
I guess it's the corporate firewall sneakin' a peak at what I'm looking at.

I use a good dose of clear Polykote spray paint on pre-locking MTB grips. Does the same job - lubricates the grip as it slides on and then holds it in place once it's there.

Yeah but does your mum have it on her dresser?

+1 for hairspray.

No, but I do have Polykote and I don't have a mum, which puts Polykote in first place.

Where would you recommend I purchase one from?
My current one managed 250 miles before locking up solid - thanks to Ride100.

do what pleases you, not what somebody else likes.
has the "tester stamp of approval" been disclaimed by tester himself?
-
• #62989
"Tester Approved™" is just that and nothing more. Stuff I like might not be the only good stuff, and it might not be the best stuff for everybody.

They are distributed by Madison, so any shop should be able to get you one. I just fitted one for someone, but they supplied it, I think they picked it up in a local bike shop. I was impressed with the quality, compared to the one that came out (which sounded similar to yours!)

Fair enough, I'll grab one. I need to person up a bit and smack the current one out - it's in there good and proper so will take a bit of effort it would seem.

Given the poor durability why would you want another one?
-
• #62994
you don't have too many options on choosing the type of BB
With PF 30 there is only the simple option of choosing a better bit of kit
not a different bit of kit
unless you want to make some significant changes
like a different frame
or a different crankset -

Someone! TESTER!! PLS
Even when I tighten the front brake (DA7900) it moves around but the part shown in red doesent .. whats wrong?
I tried with different length brake bolts at the right torque.
-
• #62997
Er, nothing? The central bolt, the nut you've highlighted and the pivot nut in the fork are the only parts that shouldn't be free to move. The rest of the caliper should be free to move, otherwise it won't work.

You're probably looking for a slitting service. I hope you need a few miles of tape :-)
Hairspray no?
