  • What width are your feet?

  • Duck.

  • I have wide feet too and have been through many a shoe, so be serious.

    What width in mm?

  • Ribble are doing dominators for £109 using the code 'SELL10'..... Only 45's and 44's left though, I think.

  • +goonz, I had a couple of pairs of Sidi's for a while with no joy for my wide feet. I'm currently loving my S-Works Pro shoes, and apparently Giro are similarly wide too, although not my wide.

  • Got some Eagle 5-Fit while they were £106.99 on Wiggle yesterday - went for the 46.5 based on foot length in cm and my relation to the 46 Mavic Rush. Been through about £450 worth of purchases/returns on cycling shoes this month, so I really bloody hope they fit - I can't bear too many more trips to the sorting office!

  • If they don't wiggle do exchanges I believe.

Glad I ordered mine before the price jump :)

  • Yeah me too! Unfortunately they only seem to have up to the 46.5 in the black, and also jump up from 46.5 to 48 with nothing in between in the other disco slippers, and I can't face spening RRP elsewhere to get a 47 if I need to.

  • I tried a works but they were worse fit than the sidi. Think I will be going bont and heat mouldable as a last resort.

  • When I'm back in London I'll measure them up mate.

  • remember your feet swell as you ride. different thickness socks can make 1/4-1/2 size difference too.

  • Yep yesterday was the first time I wore them with summer socks and sidis own abysmal insole and it was hot. Today on the hautacam it was cool and my feet didn't swell as much so no pain. Still is a definite small finger gap at the heel even with the heel adjusters fully tightened. Will see how they go on the tourmalet tomorrow.

  • you tried BG innersoles for your feet? The stock sidi ones are a bit weak.

  • I've got Genius and Dominators just sitting around doing nothing. Because midfoot. :(

  • I've been thinking about that, well- not about your feet but about how we'd design a frame to accommodate mid-foot.

Has Scherrit ever come up with a frame design for you that'd work?

Be happy to put one together based on his input for a training bike.

  • Yes I have I use them in my commute shoes forgot to switch them over.

  • Got a bit pissed and ordered some genius 5s. Oops. I went for 45, and am used to 44 in Specialized MTB shoes.

Hoping I didn't get the wrong size :-/

  • I'm eagerly awaiting my dominators. I've been using my old sidis for about 8 years, and they still won't die.....they just look a bit silver and dated. I'll still probably get £30 for em on evilbay!

  • Not sure why Sidi and a few other reviews recommend going up a size from normal shoes. I'm generally a 10 (45) and genius 5s in 45 fit perfectly.

  • 44 is normally a (UK) 10

  • Tried on some ergo carbons in 45 and the seemed ok, though I had to put hella tension on the ratchet. The tongue on 44s seemed to rub the front of my ankle a little, so here's hoping.

  • ^ were you wearing socks?
Cut the tongue to open up the slits along the edge of the top. Gives a bit more ankle room.

  • Ah didn't know you could do that. Hmm. Well will have to see what the 45s end up like when they are delivered! And yes I was wearing my cycling socks after a 35 mile ride which probably meant my feet were a bit swollen as well

  • Ordered dominator SRS from sidi café. Ex display for £115 - not bad I thought.
