Good time for your first ride, well done.

Doing the National 50 on fixed this year I should hope earned me enough brownie points to last until 2020.
I was going to do the 25 but I wasn't on it that weekend so had to bail Levens and the Nationals the day later. Will be doing National HC on fixed as I have done in the past!
Next years National 10 is on the K41/10 which is perfect fixed. I'm running the Midland Championships on there a couple of weeks before and will probably have a fastest on fixed prize ;)

K41/10
Ah yeah, I've ridden that before. Shame I'm not Midlands based anymore but should be able to make it.

Screw this long stuff. I'm doing 25s from now on.
I wonder what I could do if I actually trained for them? -

My eyes seem to think that's a vague FSA logo across the face? No?
I can't find anything about it. Where'd the pic come from?

• #7407
It does indeed.

FSA's judging by the writing!

From this busted gallery http://www.bikeradar.com/road/news/article/eurobike-2014-viva-italia-42231/

Hmm, wonder if they'll make a regular mount version.
-
• #7414
Anyway, likely to be hard to find and no reason they'd be any better than what I have.
Also, if they're the same as Shimano Direct-Mount, they won't fit on the Shiv posts. -
• #7415
They are FSA. New at Eurobike. Pretty sure they're cable, not hydro as driven by regular campy levers and can see a crimped cable end on among the rear brake as shown in BR gallery.

Keep up, Matt101 :P

I think they're FSA brakes. Direct-Mount by the look of them. At Eurobike.

Yeah yeah. Some of us craft our posts. I'm an artisan.
Buy a pair of Maguras and trim the bolt. Sell as a pair of rears on Slowtwitch to someone else with a Shiv if you don't like them.

Force = mass x deceleration so alternatively you could brake lighter, earlier and for longer each time (reduced deceleration) or reduce your mass....... :P
-
• #7420
brake ... earlier
Bro, do you even race?
-
• #7422
Apart from this being a race bike for like, going fast on, none of those options cater for things like emergency stops. As for mass - you've not been around here long have you? #hippyisfat

Long time lurker. Just messing.

26:02 on MG tonight, my best since getting old. axpayne was also shaking down his 43/16 set up ready for next week and beat me by half a minute, so it looks likely to be a medal but no trophy for me for the 5th consecutive year.

What was the weather like? I was going to come but my skinsuit hadn't been washed.
Did my first TT last night at Olympic velo park, can see how this could get addictive, already thinking about faster courses and where I should of pushed harder!
23:26 so was reasonably pleased with that
Got a Team TT in a few weeks that should be fun
