For what it's worth Sabbath were actually pretty fun, more than I thought they'd be. Shame they played 3 odd new songs and didn't play Sweet Leaf. Worth £2.50 anyway.
Also amazed by how many people were absolutely fucking tanked by the time I got there around 5:30.

Oh hiyaaaa. Yeah, I was with Laner. We had tramp beers (and icecream) from the world's busiest supermarket beforehand so didn't go anywhere near the bar.

A good day for tickets...
Managed to get some for Interpol and for Robin Trower!
I had two tickets to see him about 2 years ago but he cancelled at the last minute.

Two tickets to see them as well now.

Be warned, I saw The Knife last year and it was abysmal.
If they're still doing the 'miming to their own songs but with some odd choreography' show then prepared to be disappointed.
People were fighting in the audience about whether it was any good or not rather than watch the 'performance.'

ATP cancel another festival. LOL (except at the punters who are out of pocket on travel expenses etc on account of their shoddy organisation, again)

lolololololololol, fuck knows what thought that a) they'd fill the EXCEL b) they thought the EXCEL was a really good place for those sort of bands
Hopefully another Neutral Milk Hotel Roundhouse show happens because of this

I was at the Earl's Court gig too, however was a little bit (massively) worse for wear so have absolutely no memory of it! Was good yesterday to actually appreciate the show.
