  • Indra, is it me or I have first dibs on that Orlowski if ever sold?

  • @apollo FFS I hope not, they came on the hubs! Gonna remove asap because I thought the lockring didn't have much contact. Is that the standard or only the gold medal that are bad? I thought just the latter.

@sushigeezer I promised @B0N0R first refusal if selling because he asked for it when he sold it to me, after him you are first but again I doubt I'll sell it, fits me ok and didn't cost much. There are quite a few others floating about so look out for them :P

I spoke to Jacek about them and he said he made lots in the late 90's and they're some of the best steel sprint frames made.

  • Just to remind you - on Thu, Apr 24 2014 8:23 AM you wrote to me that I have first dibs :)
I've been to SPOLEM recently and all they have left are some alu frames in very similar painting...

  • Ah sorry I'm very confused :( there are over 10 people that said they wanted dibs lol

Spolem only currently ride Alu or only have Alu left to sell? I was under the impression that somebody still had some max track frames to sell off.

  • As far as I know, there are alu orlowskis used for training and for rent. While competition they use mostly dolans and trek t1s.
There's at least one steel orlowski remaining.

  • @IR about that phil wood hub lockring thing. I've shreded thread on mine with og Phil lockring. funny thing is theres only couple of threads for lockring on the hub. Nearly died that day.

  • Because of an EAI cog? I'm gonna go phil just to complete the system. Need to find an 18t for a reasonable price.

  • @beret do you know who should I contact at SPOLEM regarding used frames for sale?

  • Yup, took the threads off nearly clean.

  • Fuck, glad you're alright mate.

  • Walked away with not a single scratch!
I never met anyone having problems with Phil but personally decided to stay away from hubs with so little thread for a lockring.

  • what saddle were you running on the brooklyn? looking for a new saddle for the volume looks nice

  • Honestly - even I don't know that, and I live 1 kilometer from SPOLEM track.
I'll try to contact them in person, because there are plans to run some kind of amateur cycling school/club.

  • Selle turbo, same as the bianchi for the most part.

Can be had quite cheap and I find them super comfy.

  • @IR I love the Turbo. +1 for comfort.
That Bianchi is badass but your Orlowski is still one of my favorites.

@beret Feeling bit home sick recently so I have to get a project based on a frame from homeland. I would appreciate any info before I'll start thinking "get a custom.

  • Man you didn't see the 58cm square rychtarski on ebay a couple of weeks back?

  • Damn, I was so busy recently that had no time to bike hunt... Whenever you see anything like that drop me a line!

Have been riding everywhere really slowly recently so I built this up to be fast now that I've got a winter bike in the works.

  • That's awesome!

  • Nice! is the corima a tub or clincher? thanks

  • Thanks, it rides great.

  • Clincher :)

  • Like the yellow accents
