Ha! I'm currently proof-reading an academic paper for a friend and having to stop myself from splitting every 'into', 'sometime', 'something' and the like. Fortunately there are far worse grammatical crimes for me to focus on...
I also hate that I can't say 'no' to checking other people's assignments as it ALWAYS takes longer than I predict. :/
