Borrowed this off a mate, 70mm, I think ideally I need an 80mm

  • Or a smaller frame? Or the stretch?

  • I could ride it with 100, but it's a stretch to make the most of the T2s, I think a lot of people run a shorter stem with bulls fixie skidding, feels much better.

  • Definitely.

On the pendle I run a 130 with drops or a 100 with bulls.

  • errrrrm who iz canyon?

wish id taken side by sides of my Cannondales all wound up matchy :(

  • It's the big one off ere, talked me mate Chris into buying it, was helping him set it up and brake cables were near seized so just gave it a bit of TLC to get him rolling, absolutely lovely bike it is, bit envious... But happy with the donohue. (Not planning on doing a dick)

  • Will you be heading for the Devonshire Arms when you get to Cambridge Tom? Any idea what time? Will try to call in when you are there just to say Hello to you and to Fahrgestell (bought my Colnago Master off him).

  • Maypole please!

  • I've been having an absolute cunt of a time with slipping stems. First the grammo wouldn't hold the nittos, then the italmanburi wouldn't hold the nittos and damaged them, then replaced with piega which the italmanburi also damaged (clamp previously deformed and pinching in the middle) thought fuck it and bought a trusty nitto stem, but it was hidden bolt and couldn't get it to open to get the next new pair of piegas in, had a good go at it yesterday and managed to get the bars in with some nuts/bolts/spacers a hammer and a giant screwdriver. Finally fucking in and not slipping! Retaped the bars with the tatty 4 th hand, and finally the build is sorted, with nothing left to resolve. What an absolute shitter it's been though.

  • wait wut? itm no good?! pm me tom, i feel bad..

  • glad it worked out Tom.
Bitta grime will get the colour right ;)

  • Ok Ruud will drop you a line.

In the meantime, took a half decent photo of the build.

  • That looks great, shame the stems haven't worked out, I think the Nitto looks alright though. Also I have mad Wound Up envy.

  • Thanks George! Do love the bike. Returned fixed to regular setup, longer less aggro stem has resulted in really comfy position.
