A fan ran onto the pitch and took a freekick Eriksen was waiting to take and forced the keeper to make a save. Eriksen then took the kick for real and put it over thebar

Dier, who according to Pisti was rubbish because he had a year at Everton when he was about 17 before rejoining Sporting Lisbon and playing 15 games before he turned 20, took his goal very well.

I thought it was Harry Kane until he put it in.

You should be celebrating their demise. It gives you an excuse to support Liverpool. Not much of one but an excuse nonetheless.

Sterling!
That's why we don't need Suarez

It is very sad to see, also the mess/debacle that has been going on at Salisbury, leaving them thrown out of the Conference altogether.
Really hope they can sort it out, but given some of the stuff I've been reading, things are not on their side.

So we haven't even kicked a ball and Liverpool have, according to the pundits, won the league already. That was over quickly.
-
• #109346
Clive if you listen to the pundits, almost all agree that Chelsea have to win it this year otherwise it will be a failure and Moronio will have to go. Not a single pundit have Liverpool finishing in the top 2, some begrudgingly have us in the top 4. Amazingly, most seem to have United finishing above us. I can only think that recent history must have some bearing on this. Again. When does recent history become old enough to be proper history?

In other news, I am surrounded by people talking about fantasy football. I wish there was an ignore button for real life. Most of these people seem to have someone called Siggerurdson in their team and all seem to be moaning this morning. Please shut up.

Was just about to post that... better than Erikksons usual output

Southampton looked a well drilled solid side, probably deserved a draw given their second half performance.
Pelle is a man mountain, he's going to cause quite a bit of trouble I think and will probably link up with Long well longer term.
We looked good in fits and starts, Mignolet didn't do his kicking homework over the summer that's for sure... painful to watch
I see Manure are starting the season the same way they finished the last.
