But before we get all carried away with this Dulux stuff, what about next Wednesday?
We are due something flat by my reckoning, perhaps the magical mystery tour that is Ingatestone?

Good idea, I'll organise a seance to summon the mysterious controller. Can everyone click their heels three times while standing on one leg please.

circa 38 flat miles, last time it was nearer 40 but the same route is never ridden twice so the actual distance like the directions will be a mystery

For those that care, there is one # in the title and 4 #'s in the sub headers. Numbers don't work so do not try and number the lists. The hyperlink only seems to work if you put the aitch tee tee pee://www. in front of it.

Did somebody say bad dad? Looking into the 5th, looks to be a good crew. Will check this week for WNKR as well.
-
• #857
I've been reminded that I'm flying out to America at 8am on the 6th so definitely can't do the Deelux ride.
-
• #858
Ah, shame. Away next week and could probably only T(h)NKR the week after.
-
• #859
Woo too! We have our own sub forum. Expect everything to turn into events as soon as the mysterious controller sobers up.

I also can only do a T(h)NKR the week after this. I'll be at the ballet a week on Wednesday.

Well pick a route and set up the event, we're our own sub forum now. No need to wait for the end of one ride before posting up the next.

And you're a mod, time to cut your hair and buy a parka.
-
• #864
I figured this thread could be waffle, waffle, consensus; then we put up the event.

And you're a mod, time to cut your hair and buy a parka.
Does that mean I have to turn up on a Vespa from now on?
-
• #866
The consensus for when KT is turning up is normally big hills.

I can do markdown,
but this is

Quiet in here isn't it, has everyone been scared off by the ^ghost?

@Rod_Munch do you want to set up the Dulux as an event?
@anyone_else does anyone object to me shifting the "off week" ride to Thursday (the 28th)?
-
• #870
Perfect for me

(and the return of BMMF)
- is there still time in the year for a Chilterns special edition ride - perhaps for the TNRC thread - first and only of the year?!!
(could commit to any night after the 9th September..)

Just noticed the WNKR Dulux event list is deficient of names compared to the list above.
@itsbruce, @bitterbuffalo, @ian(cnkr), get on the event list: http://www.lfgss.com/events/306/
@balmain, @benjam, @jonny, @clintsmoker, would be an honour to have any/all of you along.
Same goes for all regular/irregular WNKRs TNRCers.

Just here to point out tomorrow's T(h)NKR is still expected to happen. Here's the thread in case you've all missed it...
And lo it was decreed that Friday the 5th of September will see a WNKRRCNT Production of the Overnight Deluxe variety.
The route will be a shamelessly pilfered and bastardised version of one of the forum's favourite routes (thanks to MA3K) but will be roughly 90 miles, looking a bit like this...
strava.com/routes/795860 (the bit on the end is to get a direct train back to London, 75mins, every hour, 13 mins past the hour)
Yes, in this case the destination will be sunny Frinton-on-Sea!
Riders will meet next to the Polo court at the junction of Brick Lane and Shacklewell St from 00:30 and ride out at 01:00 promptly. Yes, that's technically Saturday morning. The aim will be to catch breakfast somewhere before getting the train back...
