  • I'm guessing you're working on the sound for it then?

  • I've heard it's no good... ;)

  • i watched a LoU playthrough on youroob. Stands up pretty well as a movie interspersed with long, tedious stealth / fighting scenes. In fact it probably would have made a better movie than a game.

  • oh well there you go. seems a bit superfluous to be honest, and i'm pretty sure they've made this movie already.

  • Poo, guess I have to go for the Xbone.

@Sumo how do you not know it was called the Xbone for the last year??

  • Day Z is coming to PS4.
    That is all.

  • had a little go on gran turismo 2 ( release date 1999 ) yesterday found it when rooting through a box of old games

    such big pixels

  • I was laughing at people even considering buying one.

  • I want a gran turismo with a back in the day feel. Remember getting all As on my tests.

    You shut your fool mouth.

  • Ha. The "I've heard it's no good" was in relation to The Last Of Us :)

The lady doth protest too much, methinks

  • I have heard it's rubbish though...

  • If you click on the 'in reply to @edscoble" link, you'll find the original post, fool.

  • Thanks bro. I feel like a kid who doesnt know whats a VCR...

  • What should I buy for xbox if I liked the GTA V street races? One of the Need for Speeds?

  • Day Z is coming to PS4.

If this actually happens & works (a big if I know), I think it'll be the final nudge (or excuse) I need to upgrade to PS4!

Wild sounds kind of interesting too.

  • i made the leap and got a ps4 a week ago. Currently playing though Last of Us in beautiful 1080p/60fps. Grounded difficulty is tough (but fun), resources are so sparse - feels like it's how the game should be played.

  • I still haven't finished my first play through yet, got back into it over the weekend but keep finding it gets a bit samey after a while, though I do at least care a little bit about the characters which is always a nice change for modern games.

  • I found trying to stealth through (kind of forced by grounded difficulty) all the encounters, makes it feel less repetitive. It becomes more tactical - deciding wether to carry a bottle to use as a diversion, or a brick for melee etc. knowing you need to keep bullets for the encounters that where you're forced to fight.

  • GT6 has been getting a hammering from me.
still suck at it, but improving slightly.

Borderlands 2 is my other go-to game. started a True Vault Hunter Mode, but its kicking my arse, need to get on some 4 player action.

TLOU is on my pile of shame*, got about half way in but have sacked it off, might fire it up tonight for an hour or 2.
(or perhaps some vintage C&C action on the PC...)

*currently containing, but not exclusively: TLOU, GTA5, LA Noire (never opened), Half Life 2 (well, orange box), Doom 3, Heavy Rain (completed but need to play through a few more time for alternate endings etc), Time Crisis 4, Skyrim (put in p-l-e-n-t-y of hour, still nowhere near ending it) then there is the last 2 years of PS Plus that has gone largely unplayed (Bioshock Infinite and Tomb Raider, most noticably)

on a different note, the next post will be the 12,000th in this topic. #Nerds

  • Road Redemption on the PC is looking good...
