    David,
I find it hard to get used to the new search tool. Are things likely to get better soon?
All my closed threads have been re-opened, is there a way to close them again or even erase them completely?
Have you notice an massive drop in traffic with the switch? The classified / darknet seem to be super quiet.
Is there a way to delete my profile completely along with all my posts and all my threads?

Sorry if you have answered all these questions somewhere else but I don't seem to be able to use the search tool to find the answers - I'm either retarded or it is utter shit.

Yes, I've built in the new features it needs, and will look at changing the defaults later today or tomorrow.

All my closed threads have been re-opened, is there a way to close them again or even erase them completely?

These will be re-closed in the next day or two, I need to look at how to do this but we do support the concept of closing/locking a conversation.

Have you notice an massive drop in traffic with the switch? The classified / darknet seem to be super quiet.

    Actually no, the opposite.

vBulletin used to show on the front page 1,000~ people online or thereabouts during much of the day. But that was usually 350~ members, 400-500 guests and the rest were bots. vBulletin used a few hours for the window to calculate that.

Microcosm shows 450-500 people online during much of the day, using a 90 minute window. It does not include guests or bots. As a rule there are 1.5~ guests to every 1 member, and Google Analytics confirms this split.

There are actually already more people using the forum, for more of the day, for longer durations of time.

But Microcosm was designed to not feel like a behemoth. I wanted it to feel smaller, more like the old days, whilst being huge.

And classifieds are a section of the site that is quieter, in part due to the search not yet being nailed, but other parts are busier.

Is there a way to delete my profile completely along with all my posts and all my threads?

I can delete your profile, but the content would stay in a detached state and be associated to the @deleted user.

This is pretty much because whilst your profile is part of identity data and EU law allows you to have that removed, the content is part of a collaborative work in a similar way to Open Street Map, Wikipedia, etc... it's one contribution to a whole, and the whole may not make any sense without the earlier contributions. i.e. quotes out of context, if you delete a conversation what happens to comments by others, etc.
