Really like the color!

What wheels did you go for?
-

Kinesis Crosslight.
Any recommendations for bars with 80mm reach, 125mm drop and fairly lightweight?

Question, would it not have been cheaper to have the rear end replaced off the last version?
-
• #81
Wanted to make some additional changes anyways. If i sell the last frame, the new one will have costed the same as if i would've had the changes made to my old one.

This is perfect, what tyres are you going for?

Smack bang with the FSA Omega.

Will be rolling on these Grand Prix 4Season 28mm for the rest of the year. Thinking of some Challenge Open Tubulars, or another set of Paselas next spring.

Thanks, Ed. I have a pair of those. Wonder if there is something similar that weigh less, but i guess i'd have to go carbon then.
-
• #86
Main advantage of the carbon bar is the comfort beside the weight (80g approx), but at £200+ I honestly don't think it's that worthwhile where the money can be best put toward the wheelset/brakes/saddle/drivetrain.

Zipp Service Course SL-80?

How do the 28c 4 seasons ride? Are they fairly fast? Fed up with the slowness of Paselas on my badman and been lookin for a replacement, was considering 25 c gp4000 but 28 would be better.
-
• #89
I would go GP4000s 28
-
• #90
^ this, or the Vittoria Open Pave in 27mm.

Yes, the new Grand Prix tyres look interesting. Good reviews too. I've had the 4 Seasons lying around for a while and I think they roll well. Never had any flats on them either. Won't invest in any new tyres this late in the season.

I didn't realise there was a gp4000s in 28.
Also, the 4 seasons can be had quite cheaply.

Fizik Cyrano R3 (bull) is only 5mm more drop and 50g or so lighter. Looks way nicer too

Conti 4 seasons 28s are great , I recently rode 2000km in 13 days on mixed terrain on them , one p*nct*re, which was mostly down to me not paying attention at the end of a very long day.
I use them for daily commuting and they are fast and grip well in the wet.
IMHO definitely worth a pop. -

It's heavier though, the GP4000s is 235g in 28mm, which is pretty dang good.
-
• #96
Whats the rear cleanance on this looking like, if your running 28c's?
looks huge whats the biggest you can fit?
-
• #97
Plenty clearance. Semi-knobby 40's will fit. Or 32's with guards.
-
• #98
How about grand bois in 30C? Mine are a lovely ride, although I have had a few punctures with them

Anywhere i can find 2x10 Force levers cheap?
-

PRO PLT tick the handlebar box too - a bit shorter @ 70/125mm
Front part doesn't look likely to fail all of a sudden :-)
Sexy frame!
