Linklater latest. I liked it, for reflecting the human condition. The way that grass is always greener -except it isnt. Watching in a retro cinema on a summers night was a novelty too

The Inbetweeners 2 was a film.
Is that a review? If so, was it good or bad?

Well, the gags are more consistent to the first and it doesn't flag towards the final third, so I guess that's better. Kinda wish they'd have just stuck to doing a TV special or two instead.
Fuck all out this week.

Equilibrium - Good ideas ruined for me by macho bs action a more euro art house or 2001: a space odessey treatment and it would be better
Jcvd - Jean Claude van dam me playing himself in action comedy drama. Sounds strange but turned into a good movie with of all things excellent acting and a strange mix of piss take and true sympathy for the man. Worth seeing :)

Just watched Blue Ruin. Was very good.

after planning not to to watch Robocop new I watched it. Shame they forgot the comedy and satire of the original. The little satire that remained was imparted in Samuel L. Monologues. In fact many Americans will take the "USA USA" jingoism straight.
It lacked the twice dead and twice risen hero story (once dead) and the lead and family are so bland. The armour was batman rejects
It lacked a decent villain.

GOTG - good, but not remotely as good as it's been made out to be.

I agree, JCVD is a surprisingly great film.
Saving Mr Banks. I put this on last night. I was open-minded about it and ended up really enjoying it. This has resulted in us watching Mary Poppins again today, which is a good thing.
