you wouldn't want to stitch a zebra farmer patch on your bag. everyone'd think you were a baddie in an action movie

Oh behave. I said supported their *right *to strike. If I felt strongly enough about their plight to make the statement that I supported the strike then I would have joined the boycott and not gone.
But I weighed it up and decided that on balance I didn't feel that their complaint was worth my not playing three songs in the upstairs bar for no money last night. If it's alright with you I'd like to be able to disagree without resorting to snarky sarcasm. Cheers.
Fair enough, I misread your post.
As for the snarky sarcasm, I've only got one gear.

Talking of which, there's a new twinspok in town!
A brakless, chicken feet pedalling man who I only ever see going up and down Railton Road.

as rascale says wandsworth road b&q and homebase, just off the wandsworth roundabout are good, there is another homebase on the wandsworth road, heading back towards clapham junction which does have a decent plant selection as well...

Speaking of West Norwood, has anyone else been to the new leisure centre? I went last night - good: it's all new and nice; bad: it's £4.20 for a swim, only 2 lanes open, lockers cost a quid and the staff don't seem to know what they're doing just yet. Still, exciting times in WeNo.

The best garden centre, by a mile, is the one behind Sainsbury's in crystal palace. Really excellent and good value. Free parking in sainos as well.
