  • Something similar to this?!

Had to post that again drools

    DO IT

  • Gold logo...

  • Sweet! They'd look nicer than the silver ones as well!

  • Quick change with the Olmo. Black tape and slimmer saddle. I've also mocked up the yellow.

I quite like the idea of Gorgeous Baby Blue™ too..

  • ive got a powder blue being put on one of my frames.. £35 from mastercote, picking them up monday now. Ill let you know when theyre at the studio.

  • Yes mate, I'll pop round for a look. I'm thinking V1 pompino blue. Liking it more than the yellow, what you think?

  • I like the blue more than the yellow yeh, goes with the black well. Mines more of a cinelli laser blue.

  • So my rear mech came today and I have just ordered some 6400 shifters, they aren't Tri Colour but they're the same blue steel colour. Same as my levers. Need to get my hands on a new BB and get the cranks on!

I've also noticed that I have a HUGE amount of slack in the low/low gearing, the chain is basically on the stay and there's chain rub on the derailleur but when i put it in high/high there's not a huge amount to play with. I was planning on replacing the current inner ring of the Tri Colour with a 39t ring, making it compact but I'm not concerned it'll have the same effect. What can I do about this?

  • Don't cross chain?

But for srs, a standard 53/39 11-28 or 50/34 11-25 shouldn't have that much slack, are you sure you can't take out another link?

  • Or maybe the B-screw might be off, although it looks alright there...?

  • I really have no idea, I don't know anything about gears! It's not a major issue at the moment as this isn't the final setup, I was just curious as to whether it was a really obvious thing I'd done wrong. Thanks for the advice, I'll see if I can take a link out.

  • Got the frame back from the powdercoat yesterday and put it all together.. Managed to crack my left crank in the process but here's the finished thing.. Temporary posca decals for funsies and a disc wheel to come next week #ubersled

  • How the fuck did you crack a crank arm!? Nice seatpost

  • All done. Not happy with the cable routing but they exited the levers at a funny angle..

  • Wow. Fucking ridiculous. Love it.

  • ^^ha! Way to steal my thunder dude! So nice.

@Rikki just putting it on the taper and this happened.. Now on the look out for a silver 170 fluted crank arm!

  • Ouch, shit luck. The frame looks nice in that colour though, is it finished well? Popped by the studio earlier but you weren't there

  • Ah I was at work til 5:30, in London til Sunday now. Colours nice, slight sort of fleck to it. Might give it a matte clear coat at some point though.

  • Ha sorry man! Think I saw you down St.Benedicts the other morning, riding something with a raw frame?

  • Was that you outside black dog? Simon / @youch leant me his rat for a few days, proper fun.

  • Such good steeds. Nice to see more LoPro's on the streets of Naaaaaaarch

  • Yeah that was me! I'll be sure to actually say 'ello next time haha
