Ouch...
It's not a put down (for once - honest!) It's best to be told this in August than in March next year when it's too late.

Setting up cockpits for the Somec pursuit...
anyone's got a nice riser (26mm) going spare?EDIT: I did a quick mock-up to check the angles (waiting like a kid for the frame to arrive), I guess I'm ok on the bullhorns front

Better photo. There's a 23mm tyre in there now, what is the max size that will fit? Cheers.
35mm, maybe even a bit larger

I'm not sure this is the good thread , with a SG75 crankset which bottom bracket is the best (sugino75, phil, paul, camp pista , chris…) , i want it to be bombproof

Ricardo?

bomb proof you mean fixie skidding on the streets?
you want sealed.so phil, paul or chris (do they?!) from your own suggestions.
what ild do is keep the cash and buy campagnolo centaur 111mm. best you can do for the money

I'd like to get as big tyres as possible on my roadie, would anyone like to hazard a guess if I could get anything larger than 28's in there? For reference there's 23's in there now and I have had 25's with guards in before.

I bet some 28c 4seasons would fit in there nicely, they fit in a Boardman

I noticed some big weekly mileage!
Do loads of 'cross and peak in time for... er Christmas.
I should go out and do 5.2 miles, just because.

Built this today.
Thanks to London Bike Kitchen for showing me how to press a PF bottom bracket and lending me their hacksaw. Very helpful.

853 is the best, and that colour scheme is lovely too.
Great build, just needs some lairy bar tape. Those forks are lovely too.

Nope, black will stay. The thought of getting anodised green CK hubs, headset, bottom bracket and green lizard skins has passed through my mind, though I think it might be a bit too much

I've now ridden it - it's really, really lovely to ride. Goes exactly where you point it, no flex to be spoken of, sucks up that road buzz, really stiff front end. Me likey!

It's a bit too much as the buyer may not be able to afford it when you'll sell it.
